Hexaware’s investment underscores the company’s growing focus on the UK as a key hub for digital transformation, research, and delivery excellence. The UK currently represents the company’s second-largest global market and its fastest-growing geography, making it a strategic priority for long-term expansion.
The new investment will strengthen Hexaware’s ability to support enterprises and public sector organizations in adopting advanced technologies such as AI-driven solutions, digital modernization frameworks, and emerging computing paradigms.
The company previously established its UK headquarters in London’s Canary Wharf in 2025, further anchoring its presence in the region.
The expanded operations will focus heavily on artificial intelligence, digital services, and quantum computing research. By building local R&D capabilities, Hexaware aims to accelerate innovation while working closely with UK-based clients and public sector institutions.
The initiative is also designed to support modernization of citizen and public services, leveraging data-driven approaches and AI-powered systems to improve efficiency, accessibility, and impact.
Hexaware leadership emphasized the importance of combining global expertise with local talent development to drive meaningful outcomes.
"Hexaware has worked alongside businesses in the UK for more than three decades. We have very high ambitions for our growth, creating impact in the UK and proudly supporting the Government's inclusive vision for AI. Our investments are focused on developing young talent, working with unique published datasets, and collaborating with government at all levels across the country to create a positive impact for the citizens of the UK. These investments in AI research, digital innovation for citizen services, and talent incubation will create meaningful social impact while fueling and accelerating the UK's long-term economic growth," said R. Srikrishna, CEO & Executive Director, Hexaware.
Hexaware noted that its UK clients are rapidly advancing their AI adoption strategies, making local presence critical for co-innovation and faster delivery cycles. The new R&D and delivery centers will enable closer collaboration between Hexaware teams and client organizations across industries.
"The UK is one of our fastest-growing markets, and this investment reflects the confidence our clients and the UK Government place in Hexaware. Our UK clients are moving fast on AI, and having research and delivery talent on the ground here means we can build with them rather than for them," said Parameshwaran (Param) Iyer, Executive Vice President, Head – UK and Europe, Hexaware.
The investment strengthens Hexaware’s global delivery network and reinforces its position as a key player in enterprise digital transformation services. By combining AI, digital engineering, and emerging technology capabilities, the company aims to help organizations modernize at scale and speed.
The expansion also reflects a broader trend of global IT service providers increasing investments in regional innovation hubs to support localized delivery, regulatory alignment, and faster AI adoption.
