Cognizant has expanded its strategic partnership with Anthropic, becoming one of the limited number of Global Premier Partners in the Claude Partner Network. The collaboration aims to help enterprises move beyond AI experimentation by combining Anthropic’s Claude AI models with Cognizant’s industry expertise, engineering capabilities, and enterprise delivery scale.
The expanded partnership focuses on bridging the gap between advanced AI model capabilities and real-world business outcomes. Through its AI Builder approach, Cognizant is helping organizations integrate AI into existing enterprise systems while maintaining reliability, governance, and operational scalability.
As organizations accelerate AI adoption, many enterprises face challenges in translating advanced AI models into measurable business value. Cognizant’s expanded collaboration with Anthropic is designed to address this challenge by combining Claude’s AI capabilities with Cognizant’s domain knowledge, engineering experience, and enterprise implementation expertise.
The partnership positions Cognizant as a bridge between AI innovation and production-scale deployment, helping businesses integrate AI into critical workflows and systems across highly regulated and complex industries.
"AI capability is rising faster than enterprises can absorb it, and that gap is the defining problem of this moment," said Ravi Kumar S, CEO, Cognizant. "Our role is to be the bridge. We bring the industry context, the engineering scale and the trust frameworks that use Claude to deliver production outcomes inside the most demanding enterprise environments. This partnership with Anthropic is about doing that for clients who need AI they can rely on, not just experiment with."
"Deepening our partnership with Cognizant will help more companies harness AI's growing capability and deploy it in real, practical ways for their businesses. From manufacturing to the life sciences, Cognizant is bringing Claude into the everyday work of some of the world's most demanding industries — the kinds of contexts where AI can demonstrate its greatest value for humanity," said Daniela Amodei, Co-Founder and President of Anthropic.
Cognizant is already applying Claude AI across multiple enterprise environments, helping organizations improve operational efficiency and automate complex processes.
In manufacturing, Cognizant developed an AI-powered customer experience portal for a global manufacturer within six months of project initiation. In life sciences, the company created an agentic contract intelligence system for a biopharmaceutical organization that reduced contract review time by up to 40 percent while improving extraction accuracy above 88 percent in that deployment.
For the insurance sector, Cognizant developed an AI-powered risk navigation tool that reduced manual research processes for underwriters from hours to approximately one minute when evaluating similar accounts. The deployment helped save each underwriter around eight hours per week.
Additional Claude-powered solutions are being developed across industries including financial services, telecommunications, and other enterprise sectors.
Cognizant currently holds the highest number of Claude certifications globally, reflecting its investment in building enterprise AI capabilities as organizations expand AI adoption beyond traditional technology initiatives.
One example of this collaboration is Cognizant’s work with Travelport, where Claude is expected to support software development processes by analyzing large codebases and identifying embedded business logic. This capability is designed to help modernize how Travelport’s travel retailing and distribution platforms are developed, tested, and maintained.
Cognizant is also integrating Claude into its technology platforms, including Flowsource™, Neuro® AI Engineering, and Neuro® IT Ops, as part of a model-agnostic AI strategy.
Cognizant’s Flowsource™ platform has evolved to introduce an agentic workforce that works alongside human engineers. The platform integrates Claude Code into its Spec-Driven Development module, allowing AI agents to generate software based on defined specifications, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.
The system then evaluates generated outputs against those same standards, helping organizations improve software quality and support reliable production deployments.
Through its Frontier workforce model, Cognizant is also developing AI-skilled professionals with plans to train 5,000 Frontier Certified Engineers and 10,000 Frontier Business Operators through a certification pipeline targeting 40,000 professionals.
Cognizant continues to expand AI capabilities across its workforce, with more than 30,000 associates already completing Claude training. The company plans to increase AI training and certification across its workforce of more than 350,000 associates.
By combining AI training, enterprise platforms, and industry-focused implementation expertise, Cognizant aims to help organizations transition from AI experimentation to scalable business transformation.
