Tungsten Automation, a global provider of AI-powered document and workflow automation, has announced three executive leadership appointments aimed at strengthening business operations, expanding its global partner ecosystem, and accelerating commercial growth across Asia. The company promoted Manik Mair and Thomas Van Merode, while appointing Raja Nucho to lead its worldwide partnerships and alliances organization.
Tungsten Automation announced strategic changes to its executive leadership team as the company continues expanding its AI-powered document automation and workflow business.
The appointments include the promotion of Manik Mair to Executive Vice President, Business Operations, the hiring of Raja Nucho as Senior Vice President, Global Partnerships & Alliances, and the promotion of Thomas Van Merode to Regional Vice President of Sales, Asia.
The company stated that the leadership changes are intended to strengthen operational execution, grow its global partner ecosystem, and enhance commercial leadership across key international markets.
As Executive Vice President of Business Operations, Manik Mair will oversee the integration of strategy, analytics, and operations across Tungsten Automation's revenue and customer lifecycle while chairing the company's cross-functional operating council.
Since joining Tungsten Automation in 2025, Mair has helped align the company's strategic planning with operational execution.
His previous leadership experience includes roles at Alight Solutions, FourKites, and Ceridian (now Dayforce), where he led corporate strategy, growth initiatives, partnership development, and post-acquisition integration. He began his career at EY, advising Fortune 500 organizations on strategy and business transformation.
Raja Nucho joins Tungsten Automation as Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships & Alliances, leading the company's worldwide partner recruitment, enablement, and growth initiatives across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
The partner ecosystem currently contributes approximately half of Tungsten Automation's revenue.
Nucho brings more than 25 years of SaaS leadership experience, including over 15 years building partner-led revenue organizations. Prior to joining Tungsten Automation, he led partner operations at Mitratech, overseeing more than 400 partners serving 1.5 million shared customers.
Earlier in his career at Ceridian (now Dayforce), he established the company's global partner network, increasing partner-sourced pipeline eightfold while doubling partner-driven revenue. He also spent 13 years at SAP in strategic alliance and global SMB sales leadership roles.
Promoted to Regional Vice President of Sales for Asia, Thomas Van Merode will lead the company's commercial expansion throughout the region.
Based in Singapore since 2020, Van Merode brings approximately 15 years of experience in logistics and supply chain software, having previously held leadership positions at e2open and BluJay Solutions.
According to Tungsten Automation, his experience spanning professional services and commercial leadership provides a comprehensive understanding of customer delivery and business value, supporting the company's strategy of positioning automation based on business outcomes rather than technology alone.
The executive appointments align with Tungsten Automation's broader AI-first strategy as organizations continue adopting intelligent document processing and workflow automation technologies.
“Manik, Raja, and Thomas each bring a rare combination of strategic clarity and hands-on execution,” said Peter Hantman, CEO of Tungsten Automation. “Manik's expanded role sharpens how strategy and operations work together across our business. Raja's experience building high-performing partner organizations will accelerate our partner-led growth as we advance our AI-first, agentic automation strategy. And Thomas's leadership in Asia continues to shift how the region's largest organizations think about the value of automation. Together, they strengthen our ability to deliver for customers and partners worldwide.”
