Rockfish Data has announced a strategic integration with Snowflake, the AI Data Cloud company, to enable telecom operators and network technology providers to accelerate the development and validation of autonomous network operations. The solution combines Snowflake’s governed AI Data Cloud environment with Rockfish’s synthetic data generation platform, allowing organizations to create realistic, privacy-safe network telemetry and observability data directly within Snowflake. This approach addresses key challenges in testing AI models, automation workflows, and AI agents against rare, high-impact network conditions without risking live environments.

  • Rockfish Data integrates with Snowflake to generate privacy-safe synthetic network data for telecom autonomous operations.
  • The solution produces realistic telemetry data preserving temporal, causal, and behavioral characteristics, including rare failure scenarios.
  • Telecom operators can validate AI/ML models, test closed-loop automation, and build digital twins safely before production deployment.
  • Network vendors benefit from faster proof-of-concepts, robust stress testing, and accelerated AI agent development cycles.
  • All synthetic data generation occurs within Snowflake’s secure environment, enabling seamless integration with analytics and ML pipelines.
  • The integrated solution will soon be available on the Snowflake Marketplace for telecom operators and equipment providers.

Telecom networks represent some of the most complex and mission-critical systems, where rare events like outages, congestion cascades, signaling storms, and unusual subscriber behaviors are difficult to capture in sufficient volume or detail for effective AI training and validation. Traditional approaches often rely on limited historical data, leading to incomplete testing and post-production failures. Rockfish and Snowflake’s collaboration fills this validation gap by enabling on-demand generation of representative datasets that mimic real-world dynamics while ensuring privacy and compliance.

Benefits for Telecom Operators

The integration empowers operators to:

  • Validate AI and ML models against rare conditions and edge cases without customer impact.
  • Safely evaluate closed-loop automation workflows outside live networks.
  • Facilitate controlled, privacy-safe data sharing across internal teams and external partners.
  • Accelerate onboarding and deployment of network applications and AI-driven automations.
  • Develop realistic digital twins for training autonomous agents and cross-domain closed-loop systems.

These capabilities reduce deployment risks and shorten time-to-value for AI initiatives in complex network environments.

Advantages for Network Equipment Providers and Vendors

Network vendors and software providers gain the ability to:

  • Stress test applications, optimization tools, and analytics at scale with consistent synthetic data.
  • Quickly recreate failure scenarios for root cause analysis without depending on variable customer datasets.
  • Shorten proof-of-concept timelines and demonstrate performance more effectively.
  • Accelerate AI agent development with robust, realistic datasets for training and testing.

“Together with Rockfish, we are enabling carriers and vendors to generate test data within Snowflake’s governed environment—so they can move faster with confidence,” said Sreedhar Rao, Global Telecom CTO, Snowflake. “Service providers, equipment vendors and ISVs can now get easy, secure access to realistic data to train their telecom domain specific models as well as AI Agents.”

“Traditional network testing relies on historical snapshots that fail to capture the dynamic, multi-dimensional nature of modern telecom systems,” said Muckai Girish, CEO, Rockfish. “Rockfish preserves the temporal, causal, and behavioral characteristics that drive real-world network behavior—including rare failure events that may occur once in millions of sessions. By working together with Snowflake, we’re enabling a new standard for AI and Agent validations in telecom.”

The solution supports carrier-scale simulation across observability, RAN, transport, core network, OSS, and BSS domains, all while maintaining privacy through synthetic generation. Organizations can integrate the resulting datasets directly into existing workflows for enhanced AI reliability and operational efficiency in autonomous networks.
