Technology research and advisory group Omdia by Informa TechTarget is continuing its growth with two strategic leadership appointments that strengthen the company’s focus on innovation, client service, and reaching new markets.

Omdia appoints Clint Wheelock as Head of Go-to-Market Insights & Advisory and Jean-François Pigeon as Chief Commercial Officer.
Wheelock brings deep experience building and scaling high-growth research businesses, having founded and led Pike Research, Tractica, and most recently Dash Network.
He previously served as inaugural Chief Research Officer for Omdia and EVP of Heavy Reading during his prior tenure with Informa.
Pigeon will orchestrate Omdia’s global commercial engine, aligning Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations teams.
He previously held executive roles at Synamedia, Nokia, and Alcatel-Lucent, and led the integration for the TechTarget and Informa Tech combination.
The appointments aim to strengthen enterprise customer relationships and scale the platform following strong momentum in 2025.
Clint Wheelock has joined Omdia as Head of Go-to-Market Insights & Advisory. He brings extensive experience building and scaling high-growth research businesses and leading multiple research and advisory organizations. In this role, Wheelock will drive the development of Omdia’s go-to-market insights and advisory offerings, helping clients make informed strategic decisions and supporting the company’s global growth.
Wheelock comes back to the fold, having previously been the inaugural Chief Research Officer for Omdia. During his time with Informa, following the acquisition of Tractica he also served as EVP of Heavy Reading. Wheelock brings deep experience building and scaling high-growth research businesses, having founded and led Pike Research, Tractica, and most recently Dash Network.
Also joining Omdia is Jean-François Pigeon as Chief Commercial Officer. A specialist in architecting modern Go-To-Market models, Pigeon will orchestrate Omdia’s global commercial engine, aligning Omdia’s Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations teams to drive scalable growth and deliver measurable value to clients.
Before joining Omdia, Pigeon held executive roles at Synamedia, Nokia, and Alcatel-Lucent, and led large-scale organizational transformations. His record includes leading the integration for the TechTarget and Informa Tech combination, as well as the global sales integration during the Alcatel-Lucent and Nokia merger - demonstrating his expertise in industrializing GTM motions under a unified commercial strategy.
