Nebius, the AI cloud company listed on NASDAQ (NBIS), has appointed Dan Lawrence as Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Americas. Based in the Boston area, Lawrence will lead the company’s rapid expansion in North America, scaling its commercial organization to capture surging demand for purpose-built AI infrastructure across strategic, enterprise, ISV, and AI-native customer segments.
Nebius is capitalizing on explosive demand for AI-optimized cloud infrastructure, with plans to deploy gigawatts of capacity in the US. Lawrence’s role centers on transforming this capacity into commercial momentum by building high-performing sales and distribution teams tailored to diverse customer segments.

His tenure at AWS focused on global enterprise relationships and hyperscale infrastructure supporting AI and next-generation workloads—experience directly relevant to Nebius’s mission of delivering a full-stack, developer-focused AI cloud platform.
This appointment follows Nebius’s recent milestone of securing approval for its first gigawatt-scale AI factory in the US, underscoring the company’s aggressive global expansion strategy backed by strong financial positioning.
