  • Kinaxis appoints Razat Gaurav as its new Chief Executive Officer.

  • Gaurav is the former CEO of both Planview and LLamasoft, with prior senior roles at Blue Yonder and i2 Technologies.

  • He more than doubled Planview's revenue during his tenure while advancing its AI platform.

  • Gaurav will also join the Kinaxis Board of Directors upon his start date.

  • The leadership transition reinforces Kinaxis's focus on AI-driven supply chain orchestration.

  • Interim CEO Bob Courteau will return to his role as non-executive Board Chair.

A Leader with Deep Supply Chain and Growth Expertise

Gaurav brings a proven track record of scaling global software organizations in high-growth markets. Most recently, as CEO of Planview, he transformed the company's AI strategy, launching an enterprise-grade AI platform and more than doubling revenue while maintaining strong operating margins. His background also includes leadership roles at major supply chain technology firms LLamasoft, Blue Yonder, and i2 Technologies, giving him deep domain expertise directly relevant to Kinaxis's core market.

Bob Courteau, Interim CEO and Board Chair at Kinaxis, led the selection process. “After a rigorous search, the Board selected Razat to lead the company as CEO. Razat’s twenty-five years of experience in supply chain solutions, his proven track record in advancing innovation-driven growth, and his passion for developing high-performing cultures make him uniquely qualified for this role."

Championing the Next Generation of AI-Driven Orchestration

In his statement, Gaurav emphasized his commitment to advancing Kinaxis's technology leadership, particularly in artificial intelligence. “I’m excited to join the Kinaxis team and return to my roots in supply chain. Kinaxis is uniquely positioned to redefine the future of intelligent supply chains. Building on its rich legacy of concurrent planning, I will champion the next generation of AI-driven decision making and supply chain orchestration, using the Maestro platform."

This planned transition occurs as Kinaxis strengthens its executive team, including the recent appointment of Mark Morgan as President of Global Commercial. The company positions this leadership structure as built to deliver sustained growth and lead the transformation of global supply chains through its Maestro platform, which combines AI with concurrent planning capabilities.

With Gaurav at the helm, Kinaxis aims to accelerate its innovation roadmap, deepen customer partnerships, and set new standards for intelligent, agile supply chain management in an increasingly volatile global landscape.
