Intuit Inc., the global financial technology platform behind QuickBooks, has announced the global availability of a virtual team of AI agents on its All-in-One platform. Now available to UK customers, this initiative creates a more powerful and automated QuickBooks experience designed to deliver significant time savings, greater efficiency, and actionable insights for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). This launch coincides with a new Intuit report, "The Growth Gap," which reveals that 58% of UK SMB growth potential goes unrealized due to operational inefficiencies and decision fatigue.
Intuit has launched a team of specialized AI agents on its All-in-One platform for UK QuickBooks.
The AI agents automate tasks in accounting, customer management, finance, projects, and VAT.
A new Intuit report shows 58% of UK SMB growth potential is lost to operational inefficiencies.
Businesses can save up to 12 hours a month by automating day-to-day operations.
The platform features a redesigned, personalised homepage with real-time insights and a business feed.
The goal is to help SMBs bridge the "growth gap" by reducing manual work and enabling smarter decisions.
The platform introduces a proactive team of AI agents that work alongside trusted human experts to automate essential financial workflows. These specialized agents include an Accounting Agent for automated bookkeeping and anomaly detection, a Customer Agent that helps find leads and manage sales cycles directly from the inbox, and a Finance Agent that delivers comprehensive financial summaries. Additionally, a Project Management Agent accelerates project setup, and a VAT AI Agent (Beta) helps ensure compliance by flagging discrepancies and suggesting solutions.
The launch is strategically targeted at a significant challenge identified in Intuit's new report. The study found that UK SMB leaders lose nearly a full working day (6.6 hours) each week switching between disconnected tools, with 40% feeling tied up in daily operations. This creates a "growth gap," where ambition is high but execution is hampered by daily operational drag. Intuit positions its AI agents as the solution to this problem, offering an "AI Dividend" of regained productivity, focus, and confidence.
These new AI experiences are delivered through a completely redesigned QuickBooks web layout. The new homepage is a personalized dashboard with customizable widgets and a powerful business feed. This feed displays real-time intelligent insights, recommendations, and summarizes the work completed by the AI agents, giving business leaders a clear, consolidated view of their operations and performance.
Ciarán Quilty, Senior Vice-President for International at Intuit, stated, “Ambition is abundant, but the path to execution remains obstructed by everyday complexity. The challenge isn’t ambition itself, but the systems required to turn it into progress. When routine work is automated, time and visibility returns - giving leaders the insights they need, and the confidence to act with conviction.”
Leigh Thomas, Vice President EMEA at Intuit, added, “We believe inefficiency is the hidden tax on growth and AI is the great rebalancer of that... By combining trusted human expertise and agentic AI, we streamline how businesses operate day-to-day, giving them the tools, and the time, to scale.”
Harry Pill, Founder of Freshcut Video, shared a user's perspective: “The Intuit AI agents are really exciting for me, because QuickBooks has got so much of my business data... So the fact that they can bring it all together paints a nice picture for me that I can understand, and I can take those insights forward to make good decisions.”
