The partnership focuses on equipping recent graduates, apprentices, and mid-career professionals with skills in AI, cloud, and digital technologies. Pearson will provide content and assessments for Cognizant’s Synapse initiative and Chennai Immersive Learning Centre. This collaboration addresses the $1.1 trillion annual U.S. economic loss from inefficient career pathways, as highlighted by Pearson’s Lost in Transition research, by fostering targeted skill development.
Cognizant’s automation and AI capabilities, including Flowsource™ and Neuro® SAN solutions, will enhance Pearson’s platforms with cloud-native, microservices architecture. The companies are co-developing learning products leveraging agentic AI, augmented reality, virtual reality, and conversational AI. “AI is quickly redefining the skills we need in the workplace.
