Zoom Communications, Inc. announced the launch of AI Companion 3.0 at Zoomtopia 2025, marking a significant advancement in its AI-first strategy. This release introduces agentic AI capabilities across Zoom Workplace and Zoom Business Services, designed to transform collaboration, productivity, and customer engagement through intelligent automation and personalized assistance.
AI Companion 3.0 positions Zoom as a unified platform where AI acts as an intelligent layer, seamlessly integrating with Zoom Workplace and third-party tools like Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and soon Cisco Webex. By leveraging agentic AI, it retrieves and synthesizes internal data (e.g., meeting transcripts, chat history) with external sources (e.g., market research), delivering context-aware insights. This enables users to uncover critical information, optimize workflows, and produce high-quality outputs with minimal effort, aligning with trends in SaaS-driven enterprise productivity.
Zoom’s Customer Experience (CX) suite and Zoom Virtual Agent (ZVA) gain AI-driven features, including Agentic AI Expert Assist for automating support tasks, CX Insights for business intelligence, and Automated Quality Management for virtual interactions. The Zoom Revenue Accelerator (ZRA) streamlines sales with agentic prospecting, scanning lead sources and automating outreach via email and SMS. These innovations extend AI capabilities across the customer journey, reinforcing Zoom’s role in enterprise SaaS solutions.
“Our customers’ most important conversations happen on Zoom, and now those conversations can result in critical insights to fuel real progress,” said Eric S. Yuan, founder and CEO of Zoom. The platform’s real-time voice translation, validated as 28% more accurate for English-to-French and 14% for English-to-Spanish translations, enhances global collaboration. The Custom AI Companion add-on, available for $12 per user per month, empowers organizations to build tailored AI agents, supported by pre-built templates and Agent2Agent (A2A) protocols for cross-application workflows.
As seen in the finance card above, Zoom’s stock price stands at $86.846, with a market cap of $25.83 billion, reflecting a year-to-date increase from $81.42 in August 2025. This financial stability supports Zoom’s investment in AI innovation, positioning it to capture growing demand for intelligent collaboration tools. The company’s focus on free AI Companion 3.0 access for paid Zoom Workplace accounts, launching November 2025, underscores its commitment to accessibility and enterprise value.
