  • SUPERWISE named in Gartner 2025 Hype Cycle for AI observability in banking.

  • Platform ensures continuous monitoring and governance of AI systems.

  • Supports compliance with OCC guidelines and EU AI Act.

  • Enhances trust by mitigating model drift, bias, and compliance risks.

  • Enables scalable AI for underwriting, fraud detection, and compliance.

  • Recognition highlights SUPERWISE’s leadership in trustworthy AI solutions.

Defining AI Observability in Banking

Gartner defines AI observability in banking as: “AI observability in banking refers to continuously monitoring, mitigating and analyzing AI models and AI systems that power critical banking operations. It helps detect and respond to performance degradation, model drift, bias emergence, operational failure and regulatory compliance risks. AI observability practices extend beyond traditional IT monitoring by specifically tracking real-time AI behaviors, inputs, outputs to improve decision accuracy and enhance trust in banking.” This capability is vital as banks increasingly rely on AI for mission-critical processes like underwriting, fraud detection, and compliance workflows.

Addressing Regulatory and Operational Challenges

As AI adoption grows, regulators demand greater accountability to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. Gartner notes: “Without a systemic approach to monitor, manage and govern AI systems in real time, the compliance and model risk management (MRM) process would become prohibitive. AI observability empowers banks to scale AI safely across business processes within compliance and legal boundaries.” SUPERWISE’s platform addresses these challenges by providing continuous monitoring, bias detection, and explainability, aligning with frameworks like the OCC’s model risk guidance and the EU AI Act.

Building Executive Confidence

“A mature AI observability practice helps build executive confidence in the AI portfolio by mitigating AI risk comprehensively,” said Gartner analyst Lopa Sinha. SUPERWISE’s solutions enable banks to maintain transparency and resilience, fostering trust among stakeholders. By integrating observability into the AI lifecycle, the platform ensures performance stability and regulatory compliance, making it a critical tool for financial institutions.

SUPERWISE’s Commitment to Trustworthy AI

“We feel being named by Gartner® in the Hype Cycle™ for Generative AI in Banking is a powerful validation of our mission to make AI systems observable, auditable, and trustworthy. As AI becomes foundational to banking operations, observability is no longer optional—it’s essential for compliance, customer trust, and innovation,” said Russ Blattner, CEO of SUPERWISE. The platform’s design caters to complex, regulated environments, helping banks accelerate AI-driven innovation while maintaining control.

SUPERWISE’s recognition in the Gartner 2025 Hype Cycle for Generative AI in Banking highlights its leadership in delivering solutions that ensure AI systems are transparent, compliant, and trustworthy. As financial institutions scale AI adoption, SUPERWISE empowers them to navigate regulatory challenges and drive innovation with confidence.
