Salesforce and OpenAI have announced an expanded strategic partnership to create advanced employee and consumer experiences powered by Salesforce's Agentforce 360 and OpenAI's frontier models. This collaboration enables companies to access Agentforce 360 directly in ChatGPT for querying sales records, reviewing customer conversations, or building Tableau visualizations through natural language queries, while also integrating OpenAI's latest models including GPT-5 into the Salesforce Platform for AI agent development.
The partnership advances the evolution of SaaS from point-and-click applications to multi-surface, agent-driven conversations. By combining OpenAI's frontier models with Salesforce's data-grounded workflows in ChatGPT and Slack, customers gain enterprise-grade AI in their preferred environments, enhancing daily workflows with natural, connected intelligence.

OpenAI's reasoning, voice, and multimodal capabilities enhance Agentforce 360, positioning it as a preferred model for Salesforce's Atlas Reasoning Engine and Prompt Builder.
The collaboration introduces Agentforce Commerce integration with the Agentic Commerce Protocol and Instant Checkout in ChatGPT, enabling merchants to reach vast audiences while maintaining control over orders, payments, and relationships.
