Lambda’s deployment of Supermicro’s systems, including SYS-A21GE-NBRT (NVIDIA HGX B200), SYS-821GE (HGX H200), and SYS-221HE-TNR, powered by Intel Xeon Scalable processors, enables gigawatt-scale AI factories for training and inference. The integration of Supermicro’s AI Supercluster with NVIDIA GB200 and GB300 NVL72 racks supports massive AI workloads. “Supermicro’s broad range of GPU-optimized servers enable leaders like Lambda to deliver powerful, flexible, and energy-efficient solutions,” said Vik Malyala, SVP, Technology & AI at Supermicro.
Supermicro’s advanced liquid-cooling technology reduces power and cooling costs, enhancing sustainability. Lambda’s AI factories leverage NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, including the B200 with 180GB HBM3e memory at 8TB/s, to accelerate AI workloads. “Lambda is on a mission to accelerate the path to Superintelligence,” said Ken Patchett, VP Data Center Infrastructure at Lambda. The platform’s unique architecture allows rapid deployment of next-generation AI accelerators.
The collaboration, supported by Cologix’s high-capacity fiber ring, positions Columbus as an AI innovation hub. “Enterprises across the Midwest gain low-latency access, scalability, and performance,” said Chris Heinrich, Chief Revenue Officer at Cologix. The partnership targets healthcare, finance, manufacturing, retail, and logistics, aligning with the projected $250B AI market by 2030. Posts on X, such as from @Supermicro_SMCI, highlight the deployment’s significance in the U.S. AI landscape.
Supermicro (SMCI) stock is at $604.82 with a $35.25B market cap, reflecting a 7% year-to-date decline but strong AI infrastructure demand. NVIDIA (NVDA) at $125.61 with a $3.09T market cap underscores investor confidence in Blackwell GPUs.
