Helport AI Limited, a global AI technology company specializing in intelligent customer communication software, announced on, an expansion of its strategic partnership with Atome, a leading Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) platform in Southeast Asia. Launched in May 2025, the collaboration has already achieved top performance rankings for Helport AI’s Philippines-based teams across Atome’s spending and loan product portfolios, driving plans to scale AI-enabled agents in the coming months.
The partnership, initiated on May 19, 2025, saw Helport AI deploy 78 trained agents using its AI Assist platform across Atome’s card and cash repayment portfolios. Within one month, one team surged from #5 to #1 in Atome’s regional performance metrics, and by July, both teams secured top rankings. Jason Lim, Site Manager at Atome Malaysia, praised, “The exceptional results achieved by a newly established team underscore the transformative impact of AI and the distinctive capabilities of Helport AI in training and onboarding high-performing agents.”
Leo Luo, Vice President at Helport AI, added, “This partnership exemplifies Helport AI’s ability to leverage its leading AI technology to rapidly train and scale compliant, high-performing, voice-based BPO teams customized to the specific requirements of fintech clients.”
Atome, part of Advance Intelligence Group, reported a 40% YoY GMV increase to $1.5B in 2023 and profitability in Q1 2024, bolstered by a $75M financing facility from Lending Ark and a $100M debt facility from EvolutionX to expand in markets like the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Helport AI’s AI+BPO model supports Atome’s growth by enhancing customer engagement for BNPL products, aligning with the region’s rising adoption of flexible payment solutions.
Discussions are underway to expand the program, increasing agent numbers to capitalize on BNPL demand. This aligns with Helport AI’s H1 FY2025 financials, showing 29.1% growth in subscribed seats (6,469) and $16.4M revenue, despite a stock decline of 40.7% over six months, trading near its 52-week low of $3.43.
Helport AI’s focus on AI-driven customer engagement positions it in the $30B+ contact center market, with its SaaS platform and BPO services driving enterprise efficiency. The appointment of Hiu-Yu “Vanessa” Chan as Chief Commercial Officer in June 2025 signals a push for North American expansion, complementing its Asian operations. Atome’s financial traction and Helport AI’s performance underscore a scalable partnership in Southeast Asia’s booming BNPL sector.
