Integral Ad Science (IAS) has announced a first-to-market partnership with Nextdoor, the neighborhood network, to provide AI-powered pre-bid Brand Safety and Suitability Optimization for advertisers on the platform. IAS will power Nextdoor's first-party brand safety tool, ensuring that ad impressions are delivered in brand-suitable environments. This agreement marks the initial step towards Nextdoor's adoption of IAS's AI-driven Total Media Quality (TMQ) product suite.

Through this partnership, advertisers with managed accounts can confidently run ads on Nextdoor's Newsfeed, reaching one-third of U.S. households, knowing their ads will appear in brand-safe and suitable environments based on established industry standards.

IAS and Nextdoor plan to further expand their partnership with the general availability of Total Media Quality (TMQ) for Nextdoor, which will include industry-aligned Brand Safety & Suitability Measurement, as well as Viewability and Invalid Traffic Measurement. This is expected to be available in the second half of 2025. Through TMQ for Nextdoor, advertisers will be able to validate their content adjacency with trusted third-party analysis aligned with industry frameworks, ensuring they are effectively engaging with local users and maximizing their campaign spend.
