FIS has appointed Anil Chakravarthy, an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in enterprise software, cloud transformation, and AI-powered solutions, to its Board of Directors, increasing the board size to ten members with nine independent directors.
Global financial technology leader FIS (NYSE: FIS) announced the appointment of Anil Chakravarthy to its Board of Directors. This addition increases the board size from nine to ten directors, with nine, including Chakravarthy, serving as independent members.
Chakravarthy brings deep experience in enterprise software, cloud transformation, and AI-powered solutions. His background includes driving large-scale AI initiatives and leading transitions to cloud and subscription-based models at major technology companies.

Mr. Chakravarthy currently serves as President, Customer Experience Orchestration Business at Adobe, where he leads solutions for brand visibility, content supply chain, customer engagement, and large-scale personalization. He is also responsible for Adobe’s worldwide field operations, encompassing enterprise sales, professional services, and customer success.
Prior to Adobe, Chakravarthy was Chief Executive Officer of Informatica from 2015 to 2020, guiding its successful shift to cloud and subscription services after initially joining as Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer in 2013. Earlier roles include Executive Vice President of Information Security at Symantec Corporation, leadership in product management for Enterprise Security Services at VeriSign, and co-leading the E-Business Practice at McKinsey & Company in Silicon Valley.
