Nicus Software, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise IT Financial Management (ITFM) solutions, announced the appointment of Adam Garland as Chief Product Officer to lead product strategy, management, and design with a focus on AI-enabled insights and value delivery for technology investment governance.
Garland joins Nicus during a critical period when organizations face increasing scrutiny over technology expenditures, particularly with the rapid rise of AI and cloud investments. His role will emphasize translating complex customer requirements into scalable, outcome-focused platforms that move beyond basic cost transparency to enable defensible, data-driven decision-making across IT, finance, and business teams.
“Adam brings exactly the product leadership Nicus needs at this stage of our growth,” said Eric Stoop, Chief Executive Officer of Nicus. “He has a proven ability to translate complex customer needs into scalable platforms, while keeping outcomes and value at the center. As AI becomes an increasingly material driver of technology spend, Adam’s experience will help ensure Nicus continues to deliver trusted insight and clarity for our customers.”
Adam Garland is a seasoned product management executive with extensive experience in enterprise platforms and vertical-market SaaS. At Ready Education, he unified a multi-product portfolio following private equity investment and delivered a next-generation platform serving more than 500 universities and millions of global users. Earlier, he spent over a decade at EF Educational Tours, where he led digital product management across five business units and established the company’s global product management function, driving improvements in customer experience, sales, and operational efficiency.
His foundational experience includes senior roles at Vistaprint and Accenture, where he contributed to large-scale platform development, performance optimization, and data-informed strategies.
In a complementary leadership change, Janie Longfellow will retain her position as Chief Technology Officer while assuming the additional role of Chief Operating Officer. She will continue leading engineering efforts while taking responsibility for operational execution, scalability, and reliable delivery—ensuring seamless translation of product vision into enterprise-grade solutions.
“Together, Adam and Janie bring deep, complementary leadership across product, engineering, and operations,” added Stoop. “This combination positions Nicus to execute with focus and confidence as we continue to help customers govern and defend technology investment in an increasingly complex, AI-driven environment.”
