By integrating directly into the Microsoft Security Copilot workflow, it provides defenders with instant, actionable intelligence. Through a simple chat interface, security and IT professionals can inquire about specific vulnerabilities. The power of the Satori agent comes from the breadth and depth of its data sources. It delivers real-world vulnerability exploitation data drawn from Proofpoint’s globally distributed sensor network. This is supplemented by trusted third-party sources, including the Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams’ (FIRST) Exploit Prediction Scoring System (EPSS) and the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) Catalog. This multi-source approach ensures that the intelligence provided is both current and highly relevant to the actual threat landscape.
Adopting the new agent is designed to be a straightforward process for existing customers. The Proofpoint Satori Emerging Threats Intelligence Agent is available through the Microsoft Security Storefront, which simplifies the discovery and deployment of integrated partner solutions. The agent is offered at no additional cost to Microsoft Security Copilot customers who have an active Proofpoint Emerging Threats Intelligence license. Setup is performed within the Storefront, requiring users to input their existing Proofpoint ETI API key to activate the integration. This seamless process underscores the collaborative effort between Proofpoint and Microsoft to enhance security operations with AI.
