The Mplify Alliance is ushering in a new era of leadership to guide its next phase of strategic growth. The global industry alliance has announced that its founder and CEO, Nan Chen, has been named Chairman Emeritus by the Board of Directors. In a concurrent move, the Board has appointed Daniele Mancuso of Sparkle and Franck Morales of Orange Wholesale International to serve as volunteer Co-Chief Executive Officers, effective immediately.

This leadership transition introduces a new governance structure designed to strengthen the link between the Board and Mplify's operational execution. The newly appointed Co-CEOs will serve in a volunteer capacity, bringing their deep industry experience from leading service providers to steer the alliance's strategic priorities while the established executive team continues to manage day-to-day program implementation and strategy execution.
The current executive leadership team, including Chief Operating Officer Kevin Vachon and Chief Technology Officer Pascal Menezes, will remain in their roles, ensuring stability and continuity for the alliance's members. The new Co-CEOs emphasized a focus on turning industry innovation into tangible outcomes and delivering measurable value to the membership.

Nan Chen's leadership over more than two decades was instrumental in shaping the organization from the Metro Ethernet Forum into the global Mplify Alliance of today. His tenure saw the establishment of Carrier Ethernet as a worldwide standard and the advancement of key frameworks for automation and the Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) economy. His transition to Chairman Emeritus recognizes his foundational role while allowing new leadership to guide the alliance forward.
The appointment of Co-CEOs from two major international service providers signals a strong, collaborative approach to leading the alliance. This new model positions Mplify to navigate the rapidly evolving telecom and AI landscape with increased agility, ensuring it continues to drive global industry standards and transformation.
