The demand for advanced network security is growing across Europe as enterprises seek to combat sophisticated cyber threats. To meet this need, ExtraHop, a leader in network detection and response (NDR), has announced a strategic expansion into the Nordics and Benelux markets, building on a period of significant growth and extending a key partnership to deliver its platform to new regions.
ExtraHop is expanding its EMEA presence into the Nordics and Benelux markets.
The move follows a strong 2024 where it more than doubled sales to Global 2000 customers in EMEA.
The company is extending its distribution agreement with Ignition Technology to support the expansion.
The partnership aims to address growing demand for NDR to combat advanced, stealthy threats.
ExtraHop's platform unifies NDR, network performance management, and intrusion detection.
The expansion is bolstered by integrations with industry leaders like CrowdStrike.
The expansion is a direct response to the evolving cyber threats targeting major global enterprises headquartered in the Benelux and Nordics regions. These organizations face stealthy threats that bypass traditional defenses and move laterally to inflict maximum damage. ExtraHop's NDR platform is designed to detect and stop these advanced, disguised tactics, such as lateral movement and living-off-the-land attacks, by providing complete network visibility and context that other tools miss.
To execute this regional expansion, ExtraHop is extending its successful distribution agreement with Ignition Technology. The partnership, which has already proven effective in the UK and France, will now provide local support and expertise in northern and western Europe. This alliance is strengthened by technology integrations within Ignition's ecosystem, particularly with CrowdStrike, allowing for unified visibility and control across endpoint, network, and log data to accelerate threat detection and response.
“ExtraHop’s continued success across Europe is proof of the undeniable power of our modern NDR platform,” said Andy Philpott, VP, EMEA, ExtraHop. “In the Benelux and Nordics regions, major global enterprises are being targeted by stealthy threats that can only be met with the unrivaled visibility ExtraHop offers. With the on-the-ground support and expertise of partners like Ignition Technology, we are well positioned to help security teams gain the unparalleled network insights needed to eliminate these sophisticated threats.”
“ExtraHop's industry-leading NDR platform reduces the complexity needed to address network visibility issues across fragmented IT environments, perfectly aligning with our mission to provide innovative and strategic cybersecurity solutions to the enterprise market,” said Peter Ledger, CEO, Ignition Technology.
This strategic expansion positions ExtraHop to capitalize on the growing enterprise demand in two of Europe's most dynamic technology markets, offering a critical layer of defense for organizations navigating an increasingly complex digital threat landscape.
