Exabeam, a leader in intelligence and automation for security operations, has launched a new MSSP commercial framework tailored for Managed Security Service Providers. This model addresses partner feedback by replacing legacy licensing complexities with flexible options that support efficient scaling, predictable margins, and operational agility within the Exabeam APEX Partner Program. The announcement builds on Exabeam's recognition as a 5-Star award winner in the 2026 CRN Partner Program Guide.

Quick Intel

  • Exabeam unveils a purpose-built MSSP commercial framework to simplify licensing, deployment, and growth for Managed Security Service Providers.
  • Two flexible models offered: single pooled license for high-volume multi-tenant environments and federated subscription for regional or compliance-isolated operations.
  • Benefits include reduced onboarding friction, streamlined billing, centralized management, strict data isolation where needed, and greater cost control as customer bases expand.
  • Framework integrates with the Exabeam APEX Partner Program, providing retention-based rebates, flexible invoicing, NFR environments, Market Development Funds, and advisory access.
  • Developed collaboratively with MSSP partners to eliminate scaling challenges and protect margins in competitive managed security markets.
  • Available immediately for new and existing MSSP partners, with pilot input from G.I.P. S.à r.l. shaping the final design.

The new MSSP commercial framework streamlines how Managed Security Service Providers engage with Exabeam, enabling them to deliver high-value managed detection and response services more efficiently. By focusing on operational flexibility and predictable economics, the model supports MSSPs in building scalable, recurring revenue streams while maintaining strong margins.

Flexible Deployment Models for MSSP Needs

MSSPs can choose between two licensing approaches based on their service architecture:

  • The single pooled license model suits high-volume, multi-tenant setups, allowing centralized analyst consoles and control planes to optimize costs and simplify operations across customers.
  • The federated subscription model fits providers managing multiple regions or strict compliance requirements, ensuring data and license isolation alongside centralized visibility and API automation.

Both models minimize traditional barriers in contracting, onboarding, and expansion, replacing fragmented structures with a unified global standard.

Partner Benefits and Program Integration

Fully embedded in the award-winning Exabeam APEX Partner Program, the framework delivers additional advantages such as flexible invoicing, rebates tied to recurring revenue, Not-for-Resale environments for service testing and innovation, Market Development Funds, and participation in advisory councils and early access programs. These elements empower MSSPs to evolve from transactional relationships to strategic, high-margin service providers.

“This initiative is personal for me because it was built directly from the conversations we’ve had with our MSSP partners,” said Peter Stratis, Senior Director, Service Provider Alliances at Exabeam. “We listened to their challenges around scaling, onboarding, and protecting margins, and worked side by side to design a framework that truly supports how they operate. Seeing this come to life is incredibly rewarding because it gives our partners the flexibility and confidence to grow their businesses with Exabeam for the long term.”

“The Exabeam APEX Partner Program is designed to help partners grow profitably and differentiate in a competitive market,” said Craig Patterson, Global Channel Chief at Exabeam. “With this new MSSP commercial framework, we’re extending that commitment and delivering a model designed specifically for how today’s managed security providers operate and scale.”

“Partnering with Exabeam as our main security platform of choice has been a strategic move for GIP. We selected Exabeam for its superior detection capabilities and lower total cost of ownership, which immediately strengthened the foundation of our managed detection and response services,” said Bastian Jankowski, General Manager at G.I.P. S.à r.l. "By standardizing our 40-page MDR service description around the Exabeam platform, we’ve built a scalable and modern offering that enables faster onboarding, streamlined operations, and improved threat visibility for our customers. Our customers appreciate the fact that we are bringing them to a higher cyber protection level whilst maintaining or even lowering their costs. As the pilot MSSP for this new model, we highly appreciated the collaborative approach from the Exabeam team. Our feedback helped shape the program on both sides, and together we’ve created a strong foundation for long-term growth.”

The framework is available now, allowing MSSPs to align quickly through program updates. This positions Exabeam as a partner of choice for providers seeking to enhance threat detection, investigation, and response capabilities while scaling managed services effectively.
