Government agencies are under pressure to adopt modern SaaS and AI technologies but face significant hurdles with legacy infrastructure and complex compliance requirements. Knox Systems' platform addresses this by delivering a FedRAMP-authorized managed cloud environment with built-in continuous compliance monitoring. This allows agencies to deploy commercial off-the-shelf tools rapidly without undertaking lengthy, individual authorization processes, reducing both risk and operational burden.
A critical challenge is that only a small fraction of commercial SaaS and AI tools are pre-authorized for federal use. Knox closes this gap by providing a compliant hosting environment where agencies can securely run these applications. The platform uses NIST 800-53 controls—the foundation of FedRAMP—to offer real-time visibility into risk and configuration drift, enabling agencies to modernize their IT stacks while maintaining the highest security standards.
The partnership with Carahsoft, a leading government IT solutions provider, is strategic for market access. Carahsoft will distribute Knox's solutions through its vast reseller network and key government-wide acquisition contracts (GWACs) such as NASA SEWP V and NASPO ValuePoint. This channel provides a streamlined procurement path for federal, state, and local agencies, as well as independent software vendors (ISVs) and commercial customers serving the public sector.
