Radware Ltd., a global leader in application security and delivery solutions for multi-cloud environments, has completed the acquisition of Pynt, an API security testing company. The acquisition strengthens Radware’s API security portfolio by adding pre-production testing capabilities, enabling organizations to identify and remediate vulnerabilities earlier in the API development lifecycle while maintaining continuous runtime protection. Pynt’s technology complements Radware’s existing API discovery, posture management, business logic protection, and runtime defense solutions, delivering unified, risk-driven security across the entire API lifecycle—from design and testing to deployment and production.

Quick Intel

  • Radware acquires Pynt to integrate API security testing into its comprehensive API security portfolio.
  • The combination provides continuous protection across all API lifecycle stages: design, testing, deployment, and runtime.
  • Pynt’s capabilities enable early identification and remediation of API risks, reducing exposure before APIs go live.
  • Key Pynt employees, including founders, have joined Radware following the transaction close.
  • The acquisition aligns with Radware’s recent launch of the API Security Service and supports a shift-left and shift-right security strategy.
  • Pynt’s technology remains available as a standalone solution while being integrated into Radware’s broader application security offerings.

“API security cannot stop at the code or start only in production,” said Haim Zelikovsky, vice president, cloud security business at Radware. “With Pynt, we close the gap between shift-left and shift-right strategies, helping customers focus on real API security risk, reduce noise, and protect business-critical APIs with a single, integrated platform.”

Bridging Development and Runtime Security

APIs power modern applications, yet vulnerabilities often remain undetected until production. By combining Pynt’s pre-production testing with Radware’s runtime defenses—including API discovery, posture assessment, business logic protection, and threat intelligence—customers gain end-to-end visibility and control. This unified approach helps DevSecOps, security, and development teams align rapid innovation with robust risk reduction, minimizing exposure while supporting agile development cycles.

“Becoming part of Radware provides our team with the resources and platform to further develop our vision for modern API security testing while integrating it with industry-leading runtime protection and threat intelligence,” said Tzvika Shneider, CEO and co-founder of Pynt. “Radware’s technology, scale, and commitment to API security make it a great home for our team and our ideas, and together we can deliver far more value to customers.”

Delivering Simplified, Integrated API Protection

The acquisition enables Radware to offer a single platform that addresses the full spectrum of API security needs. Pynt’s testing capabilities will enhance Radware’s existing solutions, helping enterprises simplify security operations, reduce alert fatigue, and focus remediation efforts on high-impact risks. The combined portfolio supports organizations in maintaining strong security posture without compromising development velocity or operational efficiency.
