Omada A/S, a global leader in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), has announced its strategic vision to extend enterprise-grade governance beyond human identities to the exploding population of non-human and agentic AI identities. The company is pivoting the industry from “using AI to improve IGA” to “applying IGA principles to safely govern AI agents and autonomous systems” at scale.

Quick Intel

  • Omada declares “IGA for AI” as its long-term strategic north star
  • Goal: unified governance, real-time governance for human + machine + agentic identities
  • First deliverable: Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server for developers
  • MCP securely exposes governed identity data to AI assistants and automation tools
  • Enables policy-controlled, auditable delegation of actions to AI agents
  • Lays foundation for trust, accountability, and resilience in intelligent systems

From Human-Centric to Agentic Identity Governance

As enterprises deploy autonomous AI agents that act, collaborate, and make decisions alongside people, traditional IGA boundaries are no longer sufficient. Omada is leading the shift to a unified governance fabric that provides observability, policy enforcement, and secure context sharing across every identity type—human, workload, bot, and agentic AI.

“At Omada, we are committed to making IGA for AI a strategic reality,” said Benoit Grangé, Chief Technology and Product Officer at Omada. “Our roadmap brings together unified governance, observability, and an open, connected ecosystem so organizations can safely delegate responsibilities to both humans and AI agents, always with complete oversight, policy control, and trust at enterprise scale.”

First Step: Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server

Omada is immediately releasing its MCP Server—an open, standardized interface that lets developers securely connect Omada’s governed identity data to LLMs, AI assistants, automation platforms, and agentic workflows. MCP ensures that every AI-driven action inherits the right identity context, access rights, and audit trail while respecting enterprise policies.

This marks the beginning of Omada’s multi-year journey to deliver full lifecycle governance for agentic identities, enabling organizations to confidently scale AI adoption without sacrificing security or compliance.
