Mirantis has announced its Silver Membership in the Linux Foundation's newly established Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF). This move underscores the company's commitment to shaping the open-source standards and tools that will underpin the next generation of autonomous, enterprise-scale AI systems, with a particular focus on the evolving Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Mirantis has joined the Linux Foundation's Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF) as a Silver Member to help guide the development of open-source agentic AI.
The AAIF's inaugural projects include AGENTS.md, goose, and the Model Context Protocol (MCP), aiming to create a shared ecosystem of tools and standards.
Mirantis will leverage its membership to participate in working groups and committees, applying its expertise to help enterprises implement MCP technology.
