Kustomer has introduced new AI-powered tools designed to demystify and optimize the complex automation logic that underpins modern customer experience operations. The launch of the generally available AI automation assistant and the early access AI observability assistant provides CX teams with unprecedented visibility into both their deterministic workflows and the behavior of AI agents, turning operational complexity into actionable, explainable insights.
Kustomer launches two new AI Assistants: one for automation analysis and one for AI observability.
The AI automation assistant scans workflows, rules, and routing logic to detect conflicts and redundancies.
The AI observability assistant analyzes AI agent execution traces to explain decisions and identify root causes.
Both tools are built natively into the Kustomer platform and are available at no extra charge to customers.
They aim to reduce manual debugging, improve routing accuracy, and lower operational risk as AI scales.
These additions bring Kustomer's total suite of native AI Assistants to six.
The Kustomer AI automation assistant addresses the challenge of accumulated, often conflicting business logic that builds up over time. It provides cross-product analysis, mapping all workflows, rules, and routing paths to give leaders a clear view of their CX operation. "As automation strategies mature and AI adoption accelerates, teams need intelligent tooling to manage increasing complexity,” said Jeremy Suriel, Chief Technology Officer at Kustomer. “This assistant analyzes your entire automation setup in seconds, detecting conflicts, surfacing optimization opportunities, and helping maintain best practices."
While automation handles deterministic logic, AI agents introduce non-deterministic behavior that can be difficult to troubleshoot. The Kustomer AI observability assistant focuses on this gap by reviewing post-execution traces of AI agents. It provides plain-language summaries of an agent's reasoning, tool calls, and knowledge sources, pinpointing root causes for errors and offering concrete recommendations for improvement. This built-in observability is designed to build trust and ensure governance as AI takes on more customer-facing tasks.
A key advantage of these assistants is their embedded architecture within Kustomer's unified data model and orchestration engine. This provides a connected, real-time view across the entire customer experience that standalone tools cannot replicate. The assistants offer actionable guidance—from cleaning up redundant logic to fixing ambiguous AI instructions—directly within the platform where teams operate.
With these capabilities, CX leaders can move from managing opaque, complex systems to maintaining a clear, optimized, and explainable operation. The assistants reduce hours of manual analysis to minutes, enabling teams to scale their automation and AI initiatives with greater confidence, accuracy, and control.
