Backblaze, Inc., the high-performance cloud storage platform for the AI era, today announced the appointment of Rhett Dillingham as Senior Vice President of Product. In this role, Dillingham will lead Backblaze’s product organization, driving customer-centric innovation to meet the escalating demands of AI and data-intensive workloads as the company continues to scale its platform globally.
Dillingham’s leadership arrives at a pivotal time as enterprises increasingly rely on Backblaze for high-performance, scalable storage that eliminates lock-in, complexity, and cost barriers. His expertise in AI, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity will help accelerate product innovation, ensuring the platform continues to empower application builders to focus on core innovation while delivering reliable, efficient data intelligence at scale.
Dillingham brings more than two decades of product management and design leadership experience building high-growth, globally delivered cloud platforms. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Product at HackerOne, leading AI-powered platform development for continuous threat exposure reduction. His prior roles include Vice President of Product at Sumo Logic and Rackspace, along with product leadership positions at AWS, Microsoft, and AMD.
